Durban Architecture

Our Grade 10 classes have just completed an overview of architecture. We took them to Durban to view different examples of architecture on the beachfront.

We started at Ushaka Marine World and made our way to the Moses Mabida Stadium. There are examples of different styles all along the way, and it was the perfect opportunity to expose the students to the scale of buildings in real life.

Exhibitions and Excursions

The Grade 11 Visual Arts Retrospective exhibition is going up today.

It is a very blustery day, as Pooh Bear would say, so every time someone opens a door there is the danger of the exhibit taking off.

Anyone who wishes to view the exhibition may do so during school hours - between 8.15  and 2.15. It will be taken down on the 11/11. (Photos to follow)

On Monday we are off to Durban with our Grade 10's to look at architecture. The bus leaves at 7.30.
